13 WAYS YOU KNOW YOUR OFFICIALLY AN ADULT.

  1. Theres ALWAYS cleaning to be done
  2. You buy house plants then forget their name, and try to google how long they might need watering
  3. You look forward to sitting down to ’10 minutes peace and quiet’
  4. You can’t believe how expensive food is
  5. Emptying the bin is the most vile task on earth
  6. You buy yourself flowers. Just because.
  7. You see toddlers with iPads and think ‘back in my day…..’
  8. You buy clothes depending on how much wear you will realistically get out of them
  9. The fact that 2010 was 7 YEARS AGO (!!!!!) makes you feel approx 90 years old
  10. Running a bath is now one of life’s little luxuries.
  11. You actually get ‘real’ emails and not just spam
  12. Things now have their own ‘dedicated space’ and not just you know,ย everywhere
  13. And yet you still text your mum, asking whats better for a headache, paracetamol or ibuprofen?

  • Pahaha YES to all of these! 10 minutes peace and quiet is actually my idea of dreamy nowadays, and I can’t even comprehend the small children with phones and ipads. But then on the flip side I did text my dad asking if he could book my car in for a service…haha. Sophie xxx
