I know, I know, another book post! But I’m really enjoying writing them at the moment so I figured why not?

THE NIGHTINGALE

This book completely blew me away. I still haven’t stopped thinking about it since I finished it! It’s set in World War Two and absolutely compelling. For something that I ashamedly don’t know that much about (I hated history lessons), it really opens your eyes up to what life was like back then too. It reminded me a little bit of the Auschwitz book I read a few months ago- Three Sisters.

THE READING LIST

This is the cosiest pre-Autumn read! It’s a book that spans the stories of many people that all intertwine and you could just keep reading about, chapter after chapter. Plus, a great read if you’re a fellow book lover too.

MEMPHIS

I got this as a 99p kindle deal and I couldn’t recommend it enough. It reminds me of Girl,Woman, Other which I loved just as much. It’s a story that spans over the life of a Black American family, and it’s well worth a read. It’s moving, educational, and really emotive.
