GLOSSIER SKINCARE REVIEW

It’s fair to say I was even more excited to try Glossier skincare, than the makeup (which of course I was still overly excited for, I’m just more of a skincare gal I reckon.)

I’ve been using these products for about two months now, so I feel like I’ve got a good grip on what ones are working for me, and the ones that aren’t as much.

I use the Milky Jelly Cleanser both as a morning and evening cleanse, and I love how soft it makes my skin feel afterwards. It’s different from my usual cleansers in that it doesn’t feel particularly balmy or come with any sort of spa-like scent, but it’s a great one for everyday use and it’s pretty fuss-free too. Plus I feel like it’s lasting me for a long time too and isn’t dwlinding super fast.

I picked up the Super Pure Serum as I have acne-prone skin and I heard after researching that this would be the most appropriate. It has Niacinamide in which always works wonders for my skin, so I knew me and this gal would get along. Which we definitely have, I do like it, but to be honest I prefer The Ordinary’s version (which is cheaper too) so I’m not sure I would repurchase this one. EDIT: After using this for even longer, I’m not sure what exactly it’s doing to my skin? I don’t think I’m that sure on it to be honest, despite the hype it has.

Priming Moisturiser Rich is what I’ve been using as an evening moisturiser and I love the calming, lavender scent. The tub is massive so I’m sure it’s going to last me for ages, especially as you don’t need too much of this anyway. It’s extremely hydrating and soothing, so if you have dehydrated or dry skin you will ADORE this.

On the other hand, I would give the ‘normal’ Priming Moisturiser a miss as it doesn’t do anything too special for me, and once again The Ordinary’s version is a lot better in my opinion.

Probably my favourite ever Glossier product is Balm dot com. I got the birthday cake scent for Christmas which I really liked for everyday and a bit of shimmer on the lips, however when I picked up the original version, I fell in love. It’s up there with the Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream for me as a must-have and I would highly recommend grabbing one if you are in the need for a new lip balm.

Have you tried any of Glossier skincare?
