It’s quite hard to believe that this year is coming to an end isn’t it? It’s been such a pivotal year for me, and definitely one that I’m going to always remember. 2018, you sure made your mark!
For todays post I thought I’d chat a little bit about the things I’m looking forward to in 2019..
Becoming an auntie.
I am oh so excited to be an auntie, it’s a fact I still can’t quite believe! I definitely don’t feel wise enough to be granted that role, but I’m sure I’ll get there one day. In March we will be welcoming a little boy into our family, and I can’t wait. We have my sisters baby shower in January too which will be lovely.
Going on honeymoon.
It feels like quite a long time coming, but we are heading off on a cruise in Dubai in February, and I’m looking forward to it so much, especially some sun! I’m definitely a summer baby and always happiest when the sun is shining, so I’m desperately longing to feel the heat. We still need to plan what day trips we want to do yet, so I’m going to do some research into what feels most suitable for us.
Our first wedding anniversary.
In summer 2019, we will have been married one whole year! As I’m writing this, I have no idea what we’ll end up doing, but I’m positive we’ll do something fun to celebrate.
Working with more brands.
I definitely want to work with more brands, both on my blog and Instagram (I’ll come on to that in a minute) next year. It’s so nice to build a relationship with brands and I find the process really rewarding. I’m really proud that I’ve had the chance to work with the ones I have already, and I’m hoping I can continue that in 2019. I also want to reach out to more brands too, which is something I haven’t done for months but I think it will push me out of my comfort zone a little, which is a good thing.
Building my Instagram.
I’m sure you know by now how much I’m enjoying Instagram, so in 2019, I’m setting myself a bit of a crazy goal. I want to reach 5,000 followers next year, and because I do partly believe in the law of attraction, I’m putting it out there into the world. I really do enjoy having goals to focus on, so that’s one thing I’ll be keeping in mind throughout 2019 to try and reach.
Learn how to knit.
A bit of an odd one, but I’ve been wanting to learn how to knit for years, and this Christmas I’ve chosen a small beginner knitting kit as a christmas present for my dad to get me! We are actually going away for a few days just after New Year for some relaxation, so I might take it with me then to cosy up on the sofa with.
What have you got to look forward to in 2019?
