The wonderful Chelsea often does *live* blog posts, where she just sits and types, then publishes whatever comes up. I really felt like doing that today, thank you for the great idea Chelsea!

We spent this morning doing my least favourite activity- food shopping. Although I did come away with lots of vegan snacks so that’s great.

I’m typing this while watching Workin’ Moms on Netflix, I’ve heard great stuff about it and I fancied giving it a go. I’m really liking it so far! I’ve got the afternoon to myself which is something I always love. I need that quiet time to do what I want. Even when I’ve got a busy schedule (which is getting more and more most days) I have to schedule that time in and not let myself down. Lately, I’ve been feeling like a lot of people have been demanding more of my time, which I suppose is a nice thing, but it does make me feel under pressure and that I’m already doing as much as I can. We’re only human after all. And on top of those demands we have the premise of social media and showing up as much as we can. Things can start to feel a bit busy, and I forget what my non negotiables are. I don’t want to live a nice positive life on social media if I’m not having one in real life. I often have to remind myself that the number of followers you have on Instagram is not something worth worrying over.

We all have the same amount of hours in a day. It’s up to us how we spend them. That’s our power.

This has turned into quite a rambly post but hopefully you can sense what I’m meaning, it has felt quite nice to get it off my chest (a reason I love blogging!).

Here’s to spending our days how we want.

How are you today?

Wow, I really loved reading, “I don’t want to live a nice positive life on social media if I’m not having one in real life.” So, so true! I feel like sometimes I’ve worked on creating a positive social media in hopes that it will make my life more positive, when really the main focus should be my daily life first! You’re right about making time for yourself and not worrying over the number of followers you have. This was a lovely read Natalie 🙂 xx
