I don’t tend to make a lot of resolutions, years of me breaking them 3 days into a new year has kind of taken its toll! Instead, as you know if you read this blog regularly, I like to make three new monthly goals every single month, things I want to do or focus on throughout the following weeks. Before we get into January, let’s recap on Decembers goals…
DECEMBER RECAP
Keep calm. Maybe I didn’t do this as much as I wanted to, but then again December is always such a busy month for everyone, but I did have a few really chilled out days in there which felt really good.
Embrace the festivities. Now this one I definitely did do! I watched so many Netflix Christmas films and it was FANTASTIC!!! It’s my favourite month of the year and it probably always will be.
Think about exciting plans for 2020. We are still putting plans in motion about booking a city break, but I have a few summer plans with family that will be super fun. I’d love to go to Paris, back to Edinburgh or visit somewhere new like Bath this year so it’s something I’m really thinking about. We have a holiday booked, a center parcs stay, my sisters 30th and my nephews 1st birthday so it’s set to be a great year I think.
JANUARY GOALS
Yoga with Adriene 30 day challenge. I do this every year and I always enjoy it so much. Yoga is one of my favourite things to do and something I’m constantly trying to find more time for, which is exactly why this project is perfect for me right now.
Donate. I have lots of books that I’ve read and didn’t love enough to keep, so I want to donate them to charity and have another look through my wardrobe and other places in the house where we have stuff we don’t use anymore. I’m a de-clutter addict, what can I say!
Re-decorate the bedroom. Ever since I heard that we spend half of our lives in bed, I can’t stop thinking about how much I want to love our bedroom. I’m just not happy with it at the moment how it is, it feels way too cluttered and not calm enough for my liking. I want a new (pink) headboard, I’ve ordered some new sheets which I love and seen a few small styling pieces to get too. Hopefully by the end of this month I will have a bedroom that I ADORE *insert heart eye emojiis*
Do you have any goals for January?
