It’s been a very busy month that has absolutely flown by, so I have an idea that I might not be that successful with June’s goals, but let’s see together..
JUNE RECAP
Take more pictures, not for Instagram. Now this one I definitely did! We had a lovely holiday where we took lots of selfies of us together, and loads of family pictures too. I must remember to print them all out and stick them in an album soon! Maybe that should be a goal in a few months…
Declutter my wardrobe. I did do this one, but it was a bit rushed and not as thorough as I’d of liked. I did get rid of two full bags to give to charity though so that feels good, and I love how refreshing de-cluttering is!
Do another e-course. I really wanted to invest in a Yoga course from one of the yogi’s I follow online, so I chose Ab Absana’s by Morgan Tyler. I was pleasantly surprised it was only £20 but unfortunately haven’t had much time to get stuck into it this month, apart from this past week. I’m very much looking forward to continuing with it though as it’s great so far.
JULY GOALS
Get back in the gym-at least once a week. I dread to think how long it’s been since I’ve been in the gym, but I don’t feel bad about it because I’ve been getting lots of exercise swimming, yoga and walking. I would like to get back to the gym at least once a week this month, as I do actually miss it! Twice a week would be perfect, but I don’t want to aim too high, and include too much exercise into my routine as it can be quite draining for me personally.
Cut down on sugar. This is one I’ve already started, which feels pretty great to say! I’m planning on doing a post about how my first week went as it’s been really interesting. I’m not eliminating it entirely, just really cutting down. It was getting to a point where I actually felt 70% biscuit…
Live slower. Like I mentioned earlier, June was hectic. I really want to live a bit slower and with more mindfulness this month, less rushing. Of course we have our wedding at the end of July too so I would like to be feeling my best by then too. Time to bring back some zen! I’m planning on making a big book order and having some evenings sat outside reading, and lots of sunshine-y dog walks too. I need to make the most of this weather!
Do you have any goals for July?
