I’ve raved about the other Bourjois concealer (Radiance Reveal), but after watching Ruth Crilly’s video I thought I would pick this one up! Now, THIS one is my favourite! It’s a lot less liquid-y than the other, but its not super super matte either. It blends with literally one swipe of your finger, and has such a good coverage too. I’m so impressed with this one!
L’OREAL PARIS LUMI MAGIQUE PRIMER
Now this isn’t *specifically* a first impression for me, as I’ve tried this product years ago but I picked it up recently because I wanted a really glowy, dewy primer that I could wear even without foundation that would make my skin look a bit healthier. I’ve been wearing it before under and without any other base products and I really, really like the finish it gives. It also doesn’t break me out which I was a bit nervy about!
REVLON ‘ALL IN ONE’ MASCARA
I’m quite picky with my mascaras. I like easy ones to apply with no faff, and doesn’t clump. This one doesn’t clump, in fact it gives great separation. But unfortunately, I don’t seem to be getting on with this wand at the minute! I’ve never seen one like it. It is a ‘ball’ type of wand and it seems to take me much longer than any other mascara normally one, just because of the weird shape. I’m going to keep with it for now and I’ll let you know if I change my mind on this one guys.
Have you tried any of these? I would LOVE to know your current favourite drugstore product! xxx
You see all these pretty blogs and think sure I can do that! Well theres SO much stuff that goes into redesigning a blog that I’m *still* not sure what certain stuff means. I really struggled after purchasing my ‘domain name’ to actually move my blogger site over. I’ve got most of the stuff I wanted done now but there’s still a few issues I’m working on.
2. Google will be your best friend.
It really will be. Turns out, there’s some really helpful people out there and Google Help Forums are genius!
3. It doesn’t have to cost a fortune.
I think many people hire someone to do their blog re-design for them, but for me, I couldn’t really afford that. I bought my domain name for about £6.99 (pay monthly) from GoDaddy (they are super helpful too by the way). I then purchased a theme from Pipdig for £39 and that was kind of all my costs. So all in all, under £50 which I think is *really* good! If you can afford to hire someone and don’t fancy the stress, I would still probably recommend it. Especially if you don’t have the time it takes, which is a lot!
4. It really does pump up the inspiration and enthusiasm you have for your blog.
Now I’ve got my site nearly all sorted, I am SOOSO excited to put out more posts for you guys! I feel like my love for blogging has completely re-newed and I’m ready to start focusing on making it a little bit more than just a hobby I do in my spare time.
Whats your experience with blog re-design? I would love to know!
Welcome to my FIRST EVER outfit picture! Scary stuff. I hope it doesn’t fill you with too many LOLS but I haven’t got the posing down just yet! Shoutout to my Dad for taking these pics! 😉 *I tried to bribe him with jammy dodgers!
So I suppose I should tell you what I’m wearing.. thats what these things are about right? *SUCH an amateur*
My floral dress I got in the sale ages ago from New Look, my bag and jumper are Zara.
I can’t believe how self conscious I felt taking these pictures! I’m not a massive fan of having my picture taken (full length) and the fact that people are staring wondering WTF you are doing are rather off-putting! I suppose the more I do them the more comfortable I will feel!
I’m also loving having my hair in this top bun. It feels like such a fun and random style, and may get some funny looks but WHO CARES!
Did you enjoy my first outfit post? Shall I do some more?? x
Here’s what I’m loving all things beauty recently…
GUERLAIN BRONZER IN ‘BLONDE’
I’ve NEVER had a fancy bronzer. But my mum got me this at Christmas, and I’ve used it every day I’ve worn makeup since. It lasts so long, does NEVER make me look orange, and just creates the look of ‘I’ve had a weekend break in the sunshine’ to my lil face. I’m really starting to appreciate higher-end makeup products… ~cue the weeping bank balance…~
SEVENTEEN LIPSTICK IN ‘BARELY BLUSH’ I’m really into this lipstick recently. Its at such a good price point (£4.99) and deposits quite a good punch of medium pink colour. As you can see, I’m not the best at describing products but I just loved this *smushed* into the lips. See? 😉
BARE MINERALS INVISIBLE LIGHT DUO
This little duo is the light of my liiiiiiiiife! I use the ‘matte’ powder all over then go in with the highlight side on the high points of my life.
