WHY CLOTHES MATTER.

This title may be misleading, but hear me out! I think clothes matter. I’m not focusing on different types of trends here, just everyone’s general uniform. They are SO so attached to feeling confident and our best selves.

If you don’t feel happy in what you are wearing, you will not feel good. There are so many days I just throw on whats easy and whats there in my wardrobe, whether I 1) actually like it and 2) feel good in it. Believe it or not, it can totally change your day!

This is something I’m currently working on. Its definitely a work in progress. I don’t have the funds to just go out and buy a whole new wardrobe, however ideal that sounds! A great tip I’m doing is when I go to throw on those ‘easy’ outfits, if I don’t like it anymore, instead of just keep regurgitating it around, I’ll bin it or add it to a charity donation pile. That way, I’m not getting rid of too many things at one.

I’m all about feeling good, so if that means spending a few more pounds on things that enforce that, I feel its justified!

Is anyone else having a wardrobe crisis right now?

  • I definitely agree! Clothes can represent our personality in some ways to and they really help to express personal style. I am having such a wardrobe crisis at the moment though as I just can’t seem to find anything I like in my wardrobe! x

    • I always get that feeling too. Maybe it just never goes away!

  • I love this! I like wearing clothes that express my personal style but I also like wearing clothes that make me feel happy and good – it’s hard to find a balance sometimes and I get caught up with the whole ‘dress for your body type’ kind of thing! But trying to look past it now and wear whatever I fancy 🙂

    • That’s a good idea, I have no idea what my style is. I just buy what I like!

  • I agree with you so much! I always feel better and more self confident when I am wearing something that I love and represent me. If I am wearing something that doesnt fit probably or something that isn’t me, it just doesnt feel right.

    • I hate that feeling, the worst is when you can’t get home and have to stay in it all day!

  • I totally agree with you, what I’m wearing can really effect my mood/confidence. Usually I feel my best when I’ve picked an outfit the night before, or made a sensible decision in the morning and put some flipping effort in haha!

  • I totally agree, on days where I feel uncomfortable in my clothes I just feel insecure and unmotivated, whereas if I’m in an outfit I love I feel I can take on the world!!

Oh that doesn’t sound like you’ve having a great time, try and find a style you feel more comfortable in. I know that I really dislike tight fitting clothes x
