GREAT BOOKS I’VE READ THIS YEAR

I’ve read some AMAZING books this year.. you know the books you still think about months later? Yep, those ones. So I just *have* to share them with you so hopefully you can give them a read too.

Rodham
This book is a fiction book all about Hilary Clinton’s life and what would of happened if she hadn’t married Bill. I heard about it for a bit before I actually purchased it, and it takes a little while to get in to, but its incredible! Hands down, my favourite book of the year so far. I’d even read it again! It follows her life through the ages kind of like a contemporary novel and I would highly recommend it, even if you don’t necessarily know much about HC like I didn’t.

Three Sisters
This is the second book in the Tattooist of Auschwitz series (I’ve not read any of them before). Originally, I would have said it’s a bit too heavy for me to read, but I found this surprisingly readable. Obviously it is hard to read in some parts, but its written so touchingly you can’t stop reading. The authors notes at the end are a really fascinating part too as it was a true story.

City of Girls
Sometimes I struggle with books that are set in a totally different era, but when you’re reading this its kind of like watching a movie. The writing is so descriptive you feel like you are there. It’s quite a long read but definitely worth it.

Have you read any of these books?
